Recital Tickets
*tickets now sold at Dress Rehearsal or at the door day of show
important dates.
- November 1st – First Half of Costume is due
- December 1st – Second Half of Costume is due
- March 1st – First Half Recital Fee is due with tuition and confirms Recital participation
- Recital Fee covers Venue, Production, and Professional Digital Video of Show.
- April 1st – Second Half Recital Fee is due with tuition.
- May 15th and 16th, 2026 – Individual Pictures at studio.
- May 22nd, 2026 – Final Day of Class
- May 28th, 2026 (Thursday) – Dress Rehearsal for Show #1 Students, All Ballet classes, AND Movement Company, 4pm start time – more detailed stage time TBA.
- May 29th, 2026 (Friday) – Dress Rehearsal for All Show #2 students, All Ballet classes, and Movement Company, 4pm start time – more detailed stage time TBA.
- May 30th, 2026 (Saturday) – SHOW #1, 1:00 PM, All Show #1 Students, All Ballet classes & Movement Company

*Tickets now sold at Dress Rehearsal or at the door day of show.
Tickets are $15 each plus tax and a small processing fee. Ages 3 and under are free (sitting on lap). Each family can invite as many guests as they would like! Cash, check, and credit card will also be accepted the day of recital to enter, day of show price per ticket is $17. Graduating Seniors and their families will have first access of ticket link.
*Handicap seating – no purchase necessary for any person in a wheelchair. We will have physical tickets available for anyone needing seating near wheelchair access. Please contact Miss Gina, admin@mcdancemovement.
*Any parents that have a dancer in more than one show – you only need to purchase tickets for one show. Pick one show to purchase tickets for and then the other shows will be physical ticket pick up at the door.
*Free student tickets will be available at the ticket desk. Any current MCDM student or alumni has free admission to any show!
*After online sales are closed (May 15th), tickets will be available to purchase for $17 each.

All dancers are invited to be a part FINALE at the end of show!
BONUS – Miss Lacy will reveal next years Recital theme after Finale!
Ages 3-5 can return to the audience to sit with their family until it’s time for them to come back for Finale. We would love all students ages 3-5 to join us for the finale, but understand if it’s too long of a wait. And, we will also be taking a full studio picture directly after the Finale dance to commemorate the season!
So, here’s a popular question answered . . . “Do we have to stay for the whole show?” – My answer is “Yes, Please do!”
FLOWERS.
Roses ($5), small Bouquets ($15), and medium Bouquets ($25) will be available to purchase in the High School lobby from In Bloom Floral of Louisburg before the show. This is NOT A REQUIREMENT, but the kids love being showered at the end of a performance. If you would like to order something different (bigger or more specific flowers) you can call or email her. TIGHTS.
Each student receives one pair of tights with costume if applicable to any of their costumes. Please try to save those tights for performance week. Example – If a student is in Jazz and Acro, they will receive one pair of dark tan convertible tights. If a student is in Ballet and Tap, they will receive one pair of dark tan convertible tights and one pair of classic pink convertible tights.
Various sizes are available in lobby as well. A tights order form will be located by payment box in lobby. Please place order form in payment box with cash, check, or mark “card on file”. Order forms are due 2 weeks before Dress Rehearsal to hopefully guarantee size/style needed. Tights are $16.43 with tax. No tights for Hip hop classes. NO PANTYHOSE. (Ballet color – “classic pink”. Tap, Jazz, Acro color – “dark tan”. Other – black or fishnet). Our Studio tights brand is “Revolution”.

- Ages 3-6 Hair – All Ballet, High Bun. All Tap, High Ponytail. All Acro, Low centered ponytail.

*Please make sure hair is very secure and smoothed back with matching hair color bands.
Costume changes.
There will be little pop up tents set up in the hallway for quick changes. Please make sure you label all shoes, costumes, and pieces of costume. Also, please make sure you designate a spot for your second costume in the dressing room (band room). Let us know if you would like a teachers help for costume changes!

Individual pictures are not required, but a special way to commemorate the growth of your dancer! ALL MCDM students are eligible to attend any of these options! Individual picture pricing order forms are below. You can contact the photographer with any questions – Muffet Petrehn 913-980-5871 OR muffet@muffetpetrehn.com.
How will you be paying? – you will shortly receive an email with total due after filling out form
1) Credit Card. – follow link at next step – total and tax will be automatically calculated

GROUP PICTURES (Per Class) – A quick and informal group picture will be taken directly before they take the stage during each Dress Rehearsal by an MCDM staff member. These will be available two weeks after Recital on our private Facebook group, “MCDM online”.
FULL STUDIO PICTURE – A full studio picture will be taken at the end of each show.
*In general, the studio is not involved with the photography process besides planning the dates for individual pictures. Please remit all communication to the photographer, Muffet. But, we will try to answer questions as best we can!
